We decided
to split up into 2 teams to do concurrent work on the 2 houses; one team stayed
on at Kak Ta’s house to do the painting, while another headed over to Pak
Awang’s house or the undercoat.

Half way
through painting, two members of our team were activated by WWF researcher
& marine biologist, Nurol, to do nest excavation at the hatchery. Kelvin
and Wei Yung headed over while the rest continued with the paint job. 2 nests
were excavated, and the pair found some embryos which were underdeveloped.

Tonight was supposed to Sijie, Kelvin and Wei Yung’s turn for beach patrol. However, Kelvin fell off
his bike whilst on the way back to Pink house. With that, he wasn’t able to
join in.
